Split pea soup for lunch!
I’m looking for a brussell sprout recipe that’s roasted in the oven?
Joyce,
We will be posting some recipes this week, but in the meantime, two ideas:
1. Peal tough leaves, cut off stem and halve Brussels sprouts; toss with olive oil (and minced garlic if you like it); spread on a cookie sheet and place in a 350 degree oven for 3–45 minutes or until edges start to brown. Serve.
2. Peal touch leaves, cut off stem and halve; then laying on the flat side, slice super thin; toss the threads with a very little olive oil and a pinch of salt; spread on cookie sheet and bake in a 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes or until crispy. Serve as a topping to steak, chicken, a salad, other veg, or just on their own like shoestring potatoes as a snack.
Enjoy!
Aren’t bamboo shoots a vegetable? I can’t find them on the list.
Thank you for you recommendation! We will add bamboo shoots to the list!
How do you add a veggie that’s not on the list? For instance, I have dandelion greens and ate lentils last night.
You email us which you just did! So, I’ll go ahead and take a look at dandelion greens and add them in appropriate.
Thanks for your message!
I still haven’t found dandelion greens or lentils on the list.
